street art.
Driven by a need for human expression, a wave of creativity is now transforming the face of the world. From metropolises to smaller cities, the urban artistry known as street art has gained a prominent place. Our new collection Street Art pays tribute to this informal yet very exciting art form.
But what is street art, really? Many would point to the spray-painted graffiti that lined the streets of New York City in the 1960s and its contemporary followers. While others advocate a broader definition that includes stickers, knit art and easily reproducible stencil graffiti.
For this collection we have invited artists, designers and creative visual composers to provide their interpretation of street art. The result is an urban collage of unexpected motifs, abstract designs and beautiful, contemplative wall themes.
